Covid-19 Guidance

As per the Government announcement on Wednesday 8th November 2021 it is now a requirement for people entering De Montfort Students' Union venue to be either fully vaccinated (two doses of an authorised Covid Vaccine) or have a negative Covid-19 Lateral flow test as a condition of entry.
For Entry you will need to demonstrate your COVID-19 status by providing:● Proof of a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test (such test to be taken within 24 hours prior to attending the event at the venue); or● Proof of full vaccination - both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to your arrival at the venue)
Proof of a Negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow TestNHS Rapid Lateral Flow tests are free. You can order your NHS Rapid lateral flow tests from the following website: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests or pick them up from a pharmacy or test site.Please DO NOT bring the home test strip with you.
You must report your COVID-19 NHS Rapid Lateral flow test result online by visiting the following website: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-resultIf you do not have access to the internet you can also report your test result by calling the phone number in the test kits instructions, NHS 119 (England, Wales & Northern Ireland).
Proof of Full VaccinationWe cannot accept vaccine cards issued at vaccination centres as proof of vaccination.Please use the NHS App to demonstrate your Vaccination Status. You can download the NHS App from the following link: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-appYou can also get a paper version (vaccination status only, 2 weeks after having a full course of the vaccine) sent to you in the post.
